Oak Hill Hospital announces the appointment of Karolina Golanka as its Assistant Administrator. Karolina has served as Oak Hill Hospital’s Administrative Resident in the Executive Operations Track since June 2019. During her time at Oak Hill Hospital, Karolina led several major operations projects, including aspects of the recent $38.5M expansion of the North Tower, which increased Oak Hill Hospital’s bed capacity from 280 to 350. She has also been instrumental in Oak Hill Hospital’s internal operations response during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Karolina earned a Master of Healthcare Administration degree, a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences degree, and a Minor in Health Disparities in Society degree from the University of Florida (UF). During her time at UF, Karolina served as a Graduate Administrative Intern in UF Health’s Department of Surgery, managing projects aimed at process improvement and enhanced operations.
“It doesn’t take long for remarkable talent to be noticed and I realized early on that it was only a matter of time before Karolina’s successes and leadership would attract attention and invite promotion, so I’m thankful that we will continue to benefit from her abilities here at Oak Hill Hospital,” said Jeremy Gallman, Chief Operating Officer. “Karolina has proven herself as a capable and competent leader who is most deserving of this promotion and will work with the leadership team to help ensure all of our caregivers have the support needed to provide the best care for our patients as she assumes administrative oversight of Diagnostic Imaging, Patient Transportation and Environmental Services.”
