Thank you for visiting our website and learning about our newly accredited Emergency Medicine Residency Program at Oak Hill Hospital. We look forward to the opportunity to meet with candidates and find our future residents, graduates and emergency physicians!

As the founding program director of the Oak Hill Hospital Emergency Medicine Residency Program, I can certainly attest to what a unique opportunity our program will be for a select group of residents. Our residents will be an integral component, helping grow and develop our program to train outstanding emergency physicians for our community and beyond.

With the combined resources of Oak Hill Hospital, Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point and Brandon Regional Hospital, we will be able to offer a well-rounded emergency medicine training experience, with exposure to Trauma, Pediatrics and three very busy emergency departments. As part of our core faculty, we will have a Research and Curriculum Director, Ultrasound Director and Simulation Director to contribute to a well-rounded curriculum in Emergency Medicine. We also are fortunate to be a program under the sponsorship of the HCA West Florida GME Consortium – giving us extensive resources available in the areas of scholarly activity and clinical excellence.

I look forward to meeting new applicants and our future residents and leaders as we build this program and serve this community with high-quality emergency care.

Sincerely,

Alfredo Tirado, MD, FACEP
