Spring Hill, FL - The Maternity Suites at Oak Hill Hospital will hold a class called New Family Care class on Saturday,
April 23, from 1 pm to 4 pm at the Graduate Medical Education building, 11307 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville, Florida 34613, on the campus of Oak Hill Hospital.

The New Family Care Class prepares families to care for their newborn, as well as each other during this new time. Parents will learn newborn care, post-partum recovery for the new mom, and how important support is for the family. They will learn about caring for their newborn with video animation and the use of realistic newborn models to demonstrate holding, bathing, and safety.
New Family Care is a three hour class followed by a personalized tour.
- Mother care: recovery, rest, nutrition
- Post-partum support: time management, activities, emotions
- Partner support: sleep, emotions, baby bonding
- Feeding baby: hunger signs, patterns
- Baby care: appearance, bathing, clothing, safety
