Oak Hill Hospital announces that it will hold a Kiss the Pig fundraiser to benefit the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer campaign. Oak Hill invites the public as well as its associates, volunteers and physicians to donate $1 to vote for one lucky person to kiss a REAL PIG! For each dollar donated the donor gets an opportunity to vote for the following contestants:
- Mickey Smith, CEO
- Matt Romero, CFO
- Sonia Wellman, COO
- Dr. Ed Nast, CMO
- Leanne Salazar, CNO
- Cathy Edmisten, VP of Operations
- Rob Foreman, VP of Physician’s Services
- Charley Snider, VP of Human Resources
Oak Hill Hospital invites everyone to “find the piggy bank” to donate. Piggy banks will be found in the Oak Hill Hospital cafeteria every weekday between 11 am and 1 pm near the register and at the nursing supervisor’s office during nights and weekend shifts. Donations are accepted through 6:00pm on Friday, October 14. The winner will be announced on Friday, October 14, 2016, at 6:30pm at the Pink It Up event, which will be held from 4:00pm to 9:00pm. The announcement will be held at the South Tower main entrance outside.

The Pink It Up event features a wide variety of events and goodies including:
- Dunk tank
- Kiss a Pig contest
- Splat the supervisor with a whipped cream pie
- Bake sale
- Cotton candy
- Photo booth fun
- Chance drawings
- Kids’ games
Tickets are $1 per ticket, $5 for six tickets or $20 for an arm’s length. Associates and volunteers are invited to donate $5 and wear a pink short or long-sleeved shirt under their uniform on Friday, October 14. During the event there will be special performances by house DJs, band, and the Oak Hill Hospital internal medicine residents.
