Spring Hill, Florida – The Oak Hill Hospital Pediatric ER and Pediatric In-Patient Units were recently presented with 17 handmade quilts to be distributed to young children in need, who are experiencing a traumatic experience and need additional comfort. The quilts were all made by the “Quilting with Grace” group from Grace Presbyterian Church in Spring Hill. “This was such a wonderful surprise,” said Kim Loucks, ER and Pediatric ER Director. “We are really grateful to the women of this group for giving the children an additional sense of comfort. Some of these children feel they are experiencing the worst day of their life when they are in an emergency room or hospital. This shows them that someone else cares.”
