Oak Hill Hospital September 16, 2015

Spring Hill, FL - Oak Hill Hospital is celebrating "Hope Fund Week" this week in celebration of HCA's 10th anniversary of its Hope Fund. The HCA Hope Fund was created following the series of Florida hurricanes in 2004, which affected hundreds of HCA employees and their families. Through the fund, HCA employees have been able to assist their colleagues in times of disaster and emergencies.

Since its inception 10 years ago, the HCA Hope Fund has assisted more than 18,000 HCA employees who have been affected by a serious illness or injury, in the immediate aftermath of a disaster, after the death of a loved one, and other critical situations. This assistance was made possible from more than 30,000 HCA colleagues donating anywhere from $1 per pay period to $500 a year.

To celebrate the generosity of its employees, Oak Hill Hospital is awarding one Apple Watch and ten $50 gift cards each day throughout the week its employees. Winners are selected from a drawing of employees who take a photo of themselves holding a sign in support of the Hope Fund and post it on social media.

HCA employees who wish to support one another by donating to the fund can visit www.easygive.com/hcacares.
