Spring Hill, Florida - Oak Hill Hospital is proud to announce that Liz Jennings, RN, BS, MBA, CPAN (Certified Perianesthesia Nurse), was recognized on June 24 by the Business & Professional Women of Florida with the Elaine Gordon Lifetime Achievement Award. The award was established in June 1994 by BPW's executive committee when they chose to recognize State Representative Elaine Gordon, a longtime supporter of BPW legislative issues. The award has continued to be awarded in memory of Representative Gordon to those individuals who continuously promote full participation, equity, and economic self-sufficiency for Florida's working women. The award was presented by BPW state president Christy Crump on her last day as Florida BPW state president.
Ms. Jennings has a long history of service to not only healthcare but the community in which she lives. In the past she has been recognized as an employee Frist Humanitarian Award winner. She holds credentials as an RN, a Bachelor of Science degree, Masters degree in Business Administration, and certification as a perianesthesia nurse. Ms. Jennings serves as Oak Hill Hospital's recovery room charge nurse and clinical coordinator.
