Spring Hill, Florida (October 26, 2018 ) – Oak Hill Hospital is pleased to announce its participation in the HCA Leadership Institute’s industry-leading Director Development Program (DDP) with the appointment of Melissa Pomeroy Rickheeram as Associate Director of the Emergency Room. Melissa will be under the direct executive oversight of Kim Loucks, Director of the ER, who has graciously agreed to precept the developing leader over the next 7-10 months as she demonstrates leadership skills through hands-on application and assignments.
Melissa comes to Oak Hill Hospital from Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point where she was Manager of Emergency Services for a 32 bed ED Level 2 Trauma Center. She received her Associate Degree in Nursing from Pasco Hernando State College, a BSN from Western Governors University, and a Bachelor of Science in Management of Information Systems from the University of South Florida. She is presently enrolled in WGU’s MSN Leadership Program. She holds certifications as a Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Emergency Nurse Association’s Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC), Trauma Nursing Corp Course (TNCC), and Crisis Prevention Institute training.
Melissa lives in Spring Hill with her husband and their children.
