Spring Hill, Florida — Oak Hill Hospital has received its license for the 10 private suites Level II NICU and 24 private rooms expansion on the 4th Floor, North Tower. Oak Hill Hospital regrets that it must cancel its grand opening celebration and tours on February 29 as the NICU will be in operation.
The community can expect to see a live tour of the NICU and bed expansion featuring our neonatologists and the NICU staff via Facebook.com/OakHillHospital on February 24 at 10:30 am.
The NICU opening date and time will be announced. Upon opening, the Level II NICU will provide care for premature babies or babies who need extra care. The NICU consists of 10 private suites for baby and mom to room together (when mom is medically cleared and discharged). It is a secured unit with secured remote viewing access should parents or guardians need to leave the NICU.
The NICU is located on the fourth floor of the North Tower and is under the direction of Raquel Ferreira, MSN, RNC-NIC (Registered Nurse Certified-Neonatal Intensive Care), Director of Women’s Services.
