(HealthDay News) -- A temporary tattoo may seem like a harmless alternative to the permanent option, but even a temporary tattoo has potential side effects, experts say.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration says these side effects could include:
- Redness where a tattoo is applied.
- Blistering skin.
- Formation of red skin lesions.
- Loss of skin pigmentation.
- Greater sensitivity to sunlight.
- Permanent scarring.
