Spring Hill, FL – Oak Hill Hospital announces that it will continue its popular For Your Health Community Education Series. On Tuesday, October 21, 2014 from 5:30 pm to 7 pm, Oak Hill Hospital will host a panel discussion entitled, “Surgical Treatment of Knee Arthritis” at Silverthorn Country Club, 4550 Golf Club Lane, Brooksville, Florida 34609.
The physician panel will include:
- Stephen P. Nystrom, DO, orthopaedic surgeon, Fellowship trained in orthopaedic sports medicine
- Daniel P. Moynihan, MD, orthopaedic surgeon, Fellowship training in advanced Arthroscopy
- Chad M. Gorman, MD, Fellowship trained in sports medicine
Drs. Stephen P. Nystrom, Daniel Moynihan, and Chad Gorman are on staff at Oak Hill Hospital. They will discuss the many treatment options available for knee arthritis, including surgery. Although there is no cure for arthritis (inflammation of one or more joints), surgery could help relieve some or all of the pain and help people perform daily activities easier and regain their active lifestyle. Those who attend will learn about the different surgical procedures and about the recovery process. There will be time devoted to questions and answers.
Admission is free and a complimentary hot meal will be served. Seating is limited and reservations are required. For more information and to register call 352-597-6333 in Hernando or 352-628-6060 in Citrus or register online at OakHillHospital.com/ForYourHealth.
