The Heart Institute at Oak Hill Hospital Announces Its Next Presentation in Its Healthy Hearts Educational Series

Spring Hill, FL – The Heart Institute at Oak Hill Hospital announces that it will host its next presentation in the Healthy Hearts Educational Series on Monday, May 19, 2014 from 4 pm to 5 pm. Oak Hill Hospital will present a panel discussion entitled “Recognizing Stroke Symptoms & Using Early Treatment Options” at Oak Hill Hospital’s cafeteria classroom at 11375 Cortez Boulevard (SR 50), Spring Hill, Florida 346613. The panel will feature:

  • Scott Edmisten, RN, EMT-P, District Chief, Hernando County Fire Rescue
  • Dr. Paul A. Ernandes, PT, PhD, Director of Rehabilitation at Oak Hill Hospital
  • Steve R. Porter, Communications Manager, Hernando County Sheriff’s Office

When a stroke hits, time is of the essence. Those who attend will learn how to recognize the symptoms of a stroke and learn how to save valuable tissue through early treatment options.

Loved ones and caretakers are invited to attend and learn how to support a healthy heart and improve their overall health and wellness.
