Oak Hill Hospital's H2U Partner's Club to Host Free Tools to Quit Program

Spring Hill, FL– Oak Hill Hospital H2U Partner’s Club™ is partnering with Gulfcoast North Area Health Education Center to provide a free “Tools to Quit” tobacco dependence program in Spring Hill. The program is open and free to anyone who is interested in quitting tobacco. Participants will be provided with a free and optional supply of nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) including patches, gum, or lozenges. This program is funded by the Florida Department of Health.
“Tools to Quit” Tobacco will be held on Tuesday, September 18, from 2 to 4:30 pm, with follow- up on October 9 from 2 -3 pm. The program will be held at Oak Hill Hospital’s H2U Partner’s Club (the small building behind Oak Hill Hospital) at 11375 Cortez Boulevard, Spring Hill, Florida 34613. The “Tools to Quit” program is a two and a half hour class that provides participants with valuable tools to help quit tobacco. These tools include:
- How to prepare a plan that works
- Specific ways to deal with cravings
- What physical and emotional symptoms to expect and how to cope with them effectively
- Four FREE weeks of patches, gum or lozenges
Participants then meet again on October 9 for extra support after quitting.
