Brooksville, FL – Live Oak Theatre Company, a not-for-profit family oriented theatre company, was just notified that it received six $150 sponsorships to assist in subsidizing tuitions for its fifth annual summer program. The money will be used to make up the difference for those children whose parents are unable to afford the full tuition.
“No child will be turned away from our camp because of money,” said Live Oak Artistic Director Randi Olsen.
Live oak theatre was blessed to receive two $150 sponsorships each from the following organizations:
- Kiwanis Club of Brookville Ridge
- Oak Hill Hospital
- A donor who wishes to remain anonymous.

This year’s program will be held from Monday through Friday, June 23 through June 27. Camp is held at Faith Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 200 Mt. Fair Ave., Brooksville, FL, 34601.
Suggested donation for tuition is $150. However, no child is turned away because of the inability to pay. The camp is open to children from ages 7 – 18. Special arrangements were made for younger children based on interview and audition.
The faculty currently includes Randi Olsen, Jessica Lucas, Ellen Sanborn, David Sanborn, Misty Hornsby, Myndee Washington, Vince Vanni, Matt Veasey and additional guest faculty.
Due to the popularity of the program, registration is now closed. All spaces were taken, effective May 21.
