Spring Hill, FL – Oak Hill Hospital announces that it will continue its popular For Your Health Community Education program on Tuesday, September 16, 2014, from 5:30 pm to 7 pm. Oak Hill Hospital will present “Safety at Home: Fall Prevention” at the Oak Hill Hospital GME (Graduate Medical Education) Conference Center at 11307 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville, Florida 34613 – on the campus of Oak Hill Hospital.
The program will be presented by Paul A. Ernandes, PT, Ph.D., Director of Rehabilitation for Oak Hill Hospital and James Hudson, PT, physical therapist for Oak Hill Hospital. Dr. Ernandes and Mr. Hudson will address the concept of enjoying our homes and staying in place as long as possible. As we mature serious falls can occur in the home and are often life-changing for those who are involved. Dr. Ernandes and Mr. Hudson will discuss how to prevent falls and reduce the risk of serious injuries by identifying hazards and implementing safeguards.
