How to Effectively Maneuver Through the Healthcare System

Spring Hill, FL – Oak Hill Hospital has announced that it will continue its very popular For Your Health community education series on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 from 5:30 pm to 7 pm. Mickey Smith, Oak Hill Hospital CEO, will present “How to Effectively Maneuver Through the Healthcare System.” The seminar is for individuals, business owners, and retirees and will be held at the Palace Grand, 275 Della Court, Spring Hill, Florida 34606.
Mr. Smith will address the many concerns about the ever changing and complex healthcare system and how those changes affect all concerned. Those attending will have an opportunity to listen and learn from someone who has made a career of understanding and dealing with our ever changing system.
Mr. Smith received a Master of Science degree in public health and an MBA in Finance from the University of Missouri and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Systems Engineering from Georgia Tech. He is a Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE), a board certified healthcare executive and Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and a Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (FHFMA). He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Medical Group Management Association, which has over 22,000 members representing 280,000 physicians across the US.
