Healthy Hearts Educational Series- "Healthy Summer Eating"

Spring Hill, FL – Oak Hill Hospital has announced that the Heart Institute offers a monthly Healthy Hearts education series for anyone interested in a healthy heart and healthy living. The next program will be held on Monday, August 8, 2011 from 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm in the cafeteria conference room at Oak Hill Hospital, 11375 Cortez Boulevard, Spring Hill, Florida 34614.
The purpose of the education series is to provide information and answer questions regarding all aspects of the heart. Anyone wishing to learn more about heart disease and heart healthy living is encouraged to attend.
This month’s program will be presented by Mary-Anne Flowers, RD, LD, Oak Hill Hospital’s Clinical Nutrition Manager. Mary-Anne will discuss “healthy summer eating.” Those who attend will learn how to enjoy a healthy summer. Mary-Anne will discuss how to take advantage of abundant fresh, seasonal produce this summer when it is at its most delicious and nutritious. She will show participants how to fill their diets with low calorie, antioxidant-rich fruits, vegetables and herbs.
