Spring Hill, FL – Oak Hill Hospital announces that it will continue its popular For Your Health community education program. On Tuesday, May 7, from 1:30 to 5:30 pm, Oak Hill Hospital will present Diabetes 101 in Oak Hill Hospital’s cafeteria conference room/Entrance A, 11375 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville, Florida 34613. The program will be presented by Ghiath Mahmaljy, MD, and Jan Trapane, CDE (Certified Diabetic Educator).
Ghiath Mahmaljy, MD, is board certified in endocrinology and internal medicine. Jan Trapane is a Certified Diabetic Educator (CDE). This is an educational clinic designed exclusively for diabetics and their spouse or caregiver. This education clinic is offered to those in our community who are diabetic and have never received the education they need to manage this progressive disease. The Certified Dietetic Educator will cover everything about diabetes from A to Z and how to effectively manage it. Dr. Mahmaljy will join Jan Trapane toward the end for a question and answer session.
When callers register, the representative will be screening to ensure that those who attend have been diagnosed. Space is limited to only 25 couples.
