Spring Hill, Florida – Oak Hill Hospital cordially invites the public to join in celebrating “Twenty-five Years of Compassionate Care.” The celebration and reception will take place on Saturday, June 6, 2009 from 10 AM until Noon at the hospital campus, 11375 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville, Florida 34613. The celebration will be held on the hospital campus front parking area, with a reception to follow in the cafeteria.
The ceremony will begin with the presentation of the colors by the color guard from the American Legion Post 186. The Hernando County Jazz Society’s “Company Swing Band” will provide musical entertainment and the agenda will feature distinguished guest speakers. There will be a special recognition of Oak Hill Hospital’s founding physicians, volunteers, and associates, plus others. The ceremony will culminate with the unveiling of the “Oak Hill Tree of Life” permanent wall display, a commemorative gift from the Nature Coast Technical High School graphics department. A reception will follow in the hospital cafeteria, with light refreshments. Several hospital departments will provide health information and displays.
All community members, young and old, are welcome.
Oak Hill Hospital accepted its first patient as a 96 bed facility on June 6, 1984.
