Oak Hill Hospital Announces Another For Your Health Community Education Presentation: “Atrial Fibrillation: Treatment for Irregular Heart Rhythm”
Spring Hill, Florida (January 27, 2011) – Oak Hill Hospital has announced that another For Your Health community education seminar will be held on Monday, February 21, 2011 from 5:30 pm to 7 pm at the Palace Grand, 275 Della Court, Spring Hill, Florida 34606. N. Rattehalli, MD will present “Atrial Fibrillation: Treatment for Irregular Heart Rhythm.”
Dr. Rattehalli is board certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. He completed Cardiothoracic Surgery Residency and fellowship at Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals of Cleveland, Ohio.
Those who attend will learn all about the innovative breakthrough procedure for treatment of atrial fibrillation now available at Oak Hill Hospital’s Heart Institute. This exciting, less invasive treatment option provides excellent quality outcomes in a safe, shorter surgical procedure using a radio frequency energy source. This procedure uses a thorascopic approach via tiny catheters instead of the traditional “open” surgical repair of the traditional “Cox Maze.” This provides the same procedural success with less pain, shorter recovery time, and all with the “less invasive approach” for the treatment of the most common arrhythmia – atrial fibrillation.
Admission is free and a complimentary hot buffet will be served. Seating is limited and reservations are required. For more information and to register call 352-597-6333 in Hernando or 352-628-6060 in Citrus.
