December Healthy Hearts- "Testing for a Healthy Heart"

Spring Hill, FL – Oak Hill Hospital has announced that the Heart Institute at Oak Hill Hospital offers a monthly Healthy Hearts education series for anyone interested in a healthy heart and healthy living. The next program will be held on Monday, December 12 from 4 – 5:30 pm in the cafeteria conference room at Oak Hill Hospital, 11375 Cortez Boulevard, Spring Hill, Florida 34614.
The purpose of the education series is to provide information and answer questions regarding all aspects of the heart. Anyone wishing to learn more about heart disease and heart healthy living is encouraged to attend.
This month Frank Guardiani, RCIS, CCT will discuss “Testing for a Healthy Heart.” Mr. Guardiani has been an HCA associate for over 13 years. Mr. Guardiani became a cardiac catheterization technician while serving in the US Army Medical Command and started working for HCA in July 1996 as a cardiovascular technician at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point. He was promoted to Charge Technician of the cardiac catheterization lab and co-director of the same. He transferred to Oak Hill Hospital in October of 2006 to be the Director of Cardiology Services. He has extensive experience as a non-invasive and invasive cardiovascular technician and is registered by Cardiovascular Credentialing International as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist ( RCIS) and as a Certified Cardiographic Technician.
Mr. Guardiani will discuss the wide variety of cardiac testing that is available in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab from angioplasty, to stenting and cardiac imaging to the various cardiac testing such as EKG, Echo, and more.
