April Healthy Hearts Education Series- "Diabetes and the Heart"

Spring Hill, FL – Oak Hill Hospital announces that the Heart Institute at Oak Hill Hospital continues to offer its Healthy Hearts education series for anyone interested in a healthy heart and healthy living. The next program will be held on Monday, April 9, 2012 from 5 pm to 6 pm in the cafeteria conference room Entrance A at Oak Hill Hospital, 11375 Cortez Boulevard, Spring Hill, FL 34613. The purpose of the education series is to provide information and answer questions regarding all aspects of the heart. Anyone wishing to learn more about heart disease and heart healthy living is encouraged to attend.
The next series will feature Mary-Anne Flowers, RD, LD (Registered Dietitian, Licensed Dietitian). Mary-Anne will discuss how a heart healthy diet can have significant impact on your heart health. She will also cover in great detail how diabetics can work toward a healthier heart by accepting and adhering to a heart healthy diet.
