Amanda Wilmoth Receives Emergency Nurse Certifcation

Spring Hill, FL – Oak Hill Hospital announces that another emergency nurse achieved certification in her area of specialty. Amanda Wilmoth, RN was recently awarded her certification as an emergency nurse and may now use the credentials CEN® (Certified Emergency Nurse) after her name. Certified Emergency Nurse certification is the certification specific to emergency nursing and measures the attainment of a defined body of nursing knowledge pertinent to the particular specialty. One hundred percent of Oak Hill Hospital’s Emergency Care Center nurses are Certified Emergency Nurses. Oak Hill Hospital is the first hospital in the nation to have achieved 100% Certification of its Emergency Nurses.

Additionally, Oak Hill Hospital is the only Emergency Care Center in Florida and one of only 20 nationwide, honored by the Emergency Nurses Association for its first-ever Lantern Award exemplifying exceptional and innovative performance in the core areas of leadership, practice, education, advocacy, and research.
