Spring Hill, FL – The Heart Institute at Oak Hill Hospital announces that it will host its next presentation in the Healthy Hearts Education Series on Monday, September 15, 2014 from 4 pm to 5 pm. Oak Hill Hospital will present a panel discussion entitled “Cooking for a Healthy Heart” at Oak Hill Hospital’s cafeteria classroom at 11375 Cortez Boulevard (SR 50), Spring Hill, Florida 346613. The panel will feature:
- Roger Carriere, Director of Food and Nutrition Services at Oak Hill Hospital
- Laurie VanWyckhouse, Registered Dietitian at Oak Hill Hospital
While you may already know the benefits of heart healthy cooking, the panel will show how to cook fun, flavorful meals that are both heart healthy and easy to implement. Those who attend this heart healthy cooking demonstration will learn tips for heart healthy eating and gather delicious recipes.
Loved ones and caretakers are invited to attend and learn how to support a healthy heart and improve their overall health and wellness.
